The White Paper “Teachers as Drivers of Change? Recommendations for Future-oriented Teacher Education” argues that teacher education must embed futures thinking at its core to prepare educators for an uncertain and rapidly changing world. It recommends interdisciplinary, pluralistic approaches and further research to strengthen teachers’ agency and support more just, sustainable educational futures.
